How to create questions using AI

Currently, you can create two types of questions with AI: Single choice and Multiple choice.
  1. From the Home screen, click on Questions.
  2. Click on CREATE QUESTION.
  3. Click on the question type: Single choice or Multiple choice.
  4. Click on AI FULL ASSISTED.

When you click  AI FULL ASSISTED button to create the question, the following screen is displayed:

Properties

  1. Test: choose the test where you want to include the question.
  2. SkillGroups: choose the skillgroup where you want to include the question.
Prompt The input that a user or program provides to an AI to elicit a particular answer from the model is called a  prompt. This allows us to tell the AI what we want and how we want it. You have the option to use the skillgroup as a prompt by ticking the checkbox of  Use skillgroup as Prompt or you can write your own prompt in the available field. NOTE: the prompt is mandatory.
  • Stem: here you can write the exact question you want for formulate.

Difficulty Level

You can select the level of difficulty with which you want the AI to generate the question.

Configuration

You can configure the following options ( IMPORTANT NOTE: none of the fields are mandatory):

  1. Generate an explanation: choose whether or not you want an explanation for the question.
  2. Create a true/false question: create a true/false question. If you select this option, you will not need to choose the number of answers.
  3. Number of questions: here you can select the number of questions you want to generate.
  4. Number of answers (2-6):select the number of answers you want to include. You can select from a minimum of 2 up to a maximum of 6.
  5. Grade: grade level based in the American schooling system. For more information, please click here.
  6. Bloom’s taxonomy: framework used to categorize educational learning objectives into varying degrees of complexity. These levels range from basic recollection and understanding to higher-order thinking abilities like analysis, assessment, and creativity. This framework allows to create meaningful learning tasks and evaluations that push students at various cognitive levels and encourage in-depth comprehension and critical thinking.   7. Depth of knowledge: this is a cognitive model consisting of four levels. It measures the extent to which learners know, understand, and are aware of what they are learning to answer a question or solve a problem. It classifies tasks based on the complexity of the thinking—not the difficulty—used to complete them. For more information, please click here.
Once you have selected all you preferred options, click on GENERATE QUESTIONS to create the questions. Then, you will be taken to the edit screen.
